Caitlin Jones is a 27 year old multidisciplinary artist born in London, UK and raised in New York City where she is currently based. Working with acrylic paint, collage, and beading, her practice is driven by process, material exploration, and emotional intuition rather than predetermined narrative. Jones creates imagined “dreamscapes” and utopian environments as a response to both personal trauma and collective trauma in the wider world.

Through layering, repetition, and experimentation, her work explores themes of femininity, vulnerability, and intimacy. Her practice is informed by an interest in color, close looking, and the relationship between physical materials and psychological states. Rather than offering fixed interpretations, her pieces invite viewers into a more instinctive and sensory mode of engagement.

Jones received her undergraduate degree from Harvard College, where she studied Art, Film, and Visual Studies alongside History & Literature. Her work has been exhibited at Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts (Cambridge, MA) and Westbeth Gallery (New York City).
